The modal verb CAN<\/strong> is widely used in English.\u00a0It is\u00a0used\u00a0<\/b>to express ability or opportunity, to request or offer permission, and to show possibility or impossibility.<\/p>\nCan<\/b>\u00a0is the same for all subjects. We don’t add an ‘S’ in the third person (like other verbs).\u00a0The verb that comes after\u00a0Can<\/b>\u00a0is in the infinitive without\u00a0to.<\/b><\/p>\n
