Possessive pronouns show that something belongs to someone. The download flashcard worksheet contains the following possessive pronouns:
- my,
- your,
- his,
- her,
- its,
- our,
- your,
- their.
All cards have pictures illustrating the possesion and examples of usage.
Strictly speaking, those possessive pronouns are called “possessive determiners” in the classical grammmar. We use them before a noun.
There is also another type of possessive pronouns which we use instead of noun. They are called independent (or absolute) possessive pronouns.
E.g., Is that your scarf? It’s very similar to mine.
